Seminar #1: Techniques for Crestal Approach Micro Sinus Grafting and the Lateral Approach
(Date: February 2, 2017   |   Location: 6731 Katella Avenue, Cypress, CA 90630)

At this meeting surgical modalities aimed at enhancing maxillary sinus bone structure and harmonizing tissue structures will be presented
1. Discuss techniques and the healing dynamics of the sinus grafting
2. Sinus augmentation via lateral approach
3. Sinus augmentation via crestal approach in patients with a residual bone height of 2 to 4mm
4. Surgical decision making: an evidence-based and decision-analysis approach
5. Complications and the team approach to resolution
6. Explain the various factors affecting graft incorporation to achieve an optimal outcome

Seminar #2: Immediate Implant Restoration
(Date: April 6, 2017   |   Location: 6731 Katella Avenue, Cypress, CA 90630)

Immediate/direct dental implant loading is defined as attaching an interim or definitive prosthetic restoration to the implant within 24 hours of implant placement. For many patients, immediate implant loading provides a distinct benefit. Immediate implant loading has become popular because of shorter treatment time, reduced patient discomfort, less inconvenience and anxiety increased patient acceptance, and improved function and esthetics. However, careful patient selection, appropriate treatment planning optimal surgical technique, and interim and definitive restorations should be considered crucial parameters for achieving a high success rate in the immediate loading of dental implants.
1. Peri-implant tissue turnover
2. Decision making: an evidence-based and decision-analysis approach
3. Management of implant complications

Seminar #3: Technique & Long-Term Stability of Bone Graft and Soft Tissue Graft
(Date: May 18, 2017   |   Location: 6731 Katella Avenue, Cypress, CA 90630)

Autogenous bone and soft tissue grafts are reliable. Mandibular cortical grafts and connective tissue grafts remain the gold standards in the restoration of intraoral tissue volume. They are convenient sources of grafting, allow for dense quality grafts, do not produce immune reactions, and are incorporated with a short healing period when compared with other methods of repair. At this meeting surgical modalities aimed at enhancing bone and soft tissue structures will be presented. The amount of oral bone that can be safely harvested and the related techniques are analyzed.
1. Discuss techniques and the healing dynamics of the autogenous bone and soft tissue grafts
2. Explain the various factors affecting graft incorporation to achieve an optimal outcome.
3. Complications and resolution
